This mix is bursting with native wildflowers and grasses that will help restore your area to native prairie habitat and offer healthy habitat for pollinating insects, birds, small mammals and other wildlife. This mix includes 54% wildflowers and 45% grasses at 8 pounds per acre of pure live seed, ensuring consistent cover and blooms throughout the season.
As many of our native grasses are “bunch grasses”, the bulk of the plant height will be in the 2-3' range, but flowering stems of grasses and forbs could reach 4-5’ tall at maturity. Here are the species included (subject to slight change based on nursery availability):
