Mason-Lake Conservation District is seeking a contractor on an as-needed basis for occasional work related to permitting and grant writing for conservation-related projects. The contractor would assist with preparing EGLE permits for Inland Lakes and Streams on future natural shoreline and erosion control projects. In addition, the contractor would assist with drafting proposals for grant applications to state agencies and private foundations, with project focal areas surrounding wildlife habitat improvements (invasive species removal, native forest and prairie habitat restoration planting, erosion control).
