Marsh Blazing Star - (Liatris spicata)
Marsh Blazing Star, also called Spike Blazing Star, produces striking purple flower wands that bloom top-down over about three weeks. The most moisture-tolerant Liatris species, it thrives equally well in sunny, well-drained sites. Grass-like leaves are dense at the base, tapering up the stem.
