Water is one of our most precious resources, and the Conservation District shares the responsibility of maintaining high quality water resources for Mason and Lake Counties. The waters in our lakes and streams are all connected, and the water resources underground also connect and find a path to the surface in some areas. With this connectivity, our work on farms, forests and private lands has an impact on everyone in the District. We have many projects and programs in action to preserve and protect our groundwaters and surface waters. If you have any questions on those listed below, please contact our office for further information.
